Text Messaging (SMS)

With your prior consent, Thornton Tax & Financial Services may contact you by text message regarding the professional services we perform for you. These messages are conversational only — questions, scheduling, and updates related to your engagement with our firm. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never sold, rented, or transferred to any external organization. Text message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, including our vendors and service providers, except where required to deliver the messaging service itself.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, or by contacting our office. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages will not affect the services we provide to you.

Text messages are transmitted over public carrier networks and are not a secure or encrypted channel. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or other sensitive financial information by text. Use our secure client portal for those items.

Protection Against Unauthorized Sharing and Disclosure

We maintain safeguards designed to protect user data against unauthorized sharing, disclosure, access, alteration, or misuse.
